1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the ssmc.ai website and mobile applications published by SSMC LLC under the SSMC brand.

2. Website behavior

The website at ssmc.ai does not use advertising trackers by default and does not require cookies to function.

3. App behavior and accounts

Data practices in apps are feature-dependent. At launch, SSMC apps generally do not require user accounts or logins.

4. Data we may collect

4.1 Support communications

If you email support@ssmc.ai or privacy@ssmc.ai, we may collect your name, email address, message content, and attachments you provide.

4.2 Diagnostics and crash reporting

When enabled in an app, we may collect crash reports and performance data through Sentry. This can include app and device version, timestamps, and technical metadata used for debugging.

4.3 Purchase and subscription metadata

Purchases in iOS apps are processed by Apple In-App Purchase (IAP). Purchases in Android apps are processed by Google Play Billing. SSMC may receive limited transaction metadata needed for verification and support.

If web or cross-platform checkout is added later, Stripe may be used, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

4.4 Basic server logs

We may maintain minimal high-level server logs to support security, reliability, and abuse prevention.

5. How we use information

  • Provide support and respond to requests.
  • Diagnose issues and improve reliability and performance.
  • Verify purchases and subscriptions.
  • Comply with legal obligations.
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, and misuse.

6. Sharing information

We may share information in limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: including Sentry for diagnostics.
  • Payment ecosystems: Apple and Google process in-app purchases on their platforms.
  • Future processor: Stripe may be used if future checkout options are introduced.
  • Legal compliance: where required by law or legal process.
  • Business transfers: such as merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.

7. Data retention

  • Support communications may be retained as needed for support operations and legal obligations.
  • Diagnostics may be retained for limited periods and/or as configured in service provider settings.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Children's privacy

SSMC services are not directed to children under 13.

10. International data processing

Depending on the services used, information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.

11. Rights and choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting privacy@ssmc.ai.
